The new Blastcar™ racing activity is a merit-badge-driven activity intended for Boy Scouts. Scouts can use their knowledge to experience the engineering design process through sketching an idea for their racer, laying out a design, constructing the car, conducting trial tests, modifying their design, and adding finishing details. Scouts design their racers for optimum performance on the course(s) they’ve engineered as a team.

Accurately hold the Blastcar™ wheel in the chuck of any drill with this precision machined tool. The shaft includes a step-down that allows Blastcar™ wheels to be mounted with the spokes facing the drill chuck, which makes work on the inside edge of the tread much easier.
The knurled and beveled thumb screw eliminates the need for a screwdriver to mount a wheel and ensures an accurate mount.
Used to power the Blastcar™ Racer, each canister contains eight grams of food-grade CO2. Steel CO2 cylinders are filled with compressed CO2 gas. In a clean environmental exchange, the CO2 is removed from air at the factory and released at the race—no new CO2 is created or added to the atmosphere. Steel canisters are recyclable material.
Cannot be shipped outside of the Continental United States.
